The members of TTTBA were invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Turkey-Thailand Business Council (TTBC) upon the invitation of TTBC on the 16th of June 2023. Following the annual general meeting, our Commercial Counsellor Ms. Oyku Unal, H.E. Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Ambassador of Thailand to Türkiye and our President, Mr. Arel F. Atakol shared their thoughts on the importance and development of commercial relationships between the two countries.
After the speakers, Mr. Cemil Çakar from TBC and Mr. Audsitti Sroithong – Director, Thai Enterprise Development Division, Board of Investment of Thailand shared the efforts done by Türkiye and Thailand goverments to support business between two countries. An a joint panel named "Exploring Trade and Investment opportunities in Türkiye and Thailand" was organized, with the participation of members from both associations. The panel, chaired by TTBC Chairman Mr. Rakesh Singh, included Vice President Mr. Erdi Er and Secretary General Ms. Isil Kirkizoglu representing TTTBA. During the panel, the challenges faced by companies operating in both Thailand and Turkey were discussed, and ideas were exchanged on overcoming these challenges.

With the hope that this positive step taken to strengthen the commercial relations between the two countries will further flourish in the coming days, we extend our thanks to all TTBC members.
